BIOGRAPHY

Carmen Buscè (Naples, 1st August 1990) is an Italian singer and songwriter.

Since she was a child, she nourished herself with music, becoming passionate about the great voices of that time such as Whitney Houston, Micheal Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Steve Wonder, Anastacia and Giorgia.

 

She studies dance until 2001, the year in which she studies the violin, music theory and a few years later, the piano.

In 2003 she begin her experiences as singer and actress in various amateur musicals, staged in Campania and, having discovered her skills, in 2007 she starts a singing course.

 

She participates in few singing competitions always ranking at top places and in 2008 participates in the auditions of “Amici di Maria De Filippi” overcoming all the castings and taking part at the first episode live on Canale 5 (Mediaset).

 

To improve herself, Carmen continues to study by attending the “Curcio Academy, National Institute of Communication and Entertainment” by Stefano Jurgens in Rome. In 2010 she performs at the Parioli Theater and Jurgens indicates her as the most deserving student of the Academy, proposing  to collaborate to work on an original song: in December 2011 they release “Too fool to stay”.

 

On an original music of Eleonora Giudizi, Carmen writes the lyrics of “Dimentica“.

In 2012 she joins an emerging theater company “MAD Company”, performing as singer, actress and dancer in different musicals (Moulin Rouge, Cats, Grease, Disney, etc.) at the theater of “Garden Club Resort” in Tuscany (Italy).

 

In 2013 she gaines the Master in Singing and Performing Arts at the International University of Music and Entertainment (UMS) with full marks.

In 2014 she flies to London for the “X-Factor UK” auditions, passing 1st, 2nd and 3rd step.

 

In 2015 she is selected to represent Italy at the “Festivalul International de Muzica – George Grigoriu” in Romania, winning an award for her performance.

Her passion for musicals continues and in 2016 she goes on stage as singer, actress and dancer with the musical “Sister Act” directed by Antonio Marino (“X Factor Italy”, “The Voice Italy”, “All Together Now Italy”) and with ” Grease ”and “Christmas Dream Musical” by and with Tony D’Ursi (Tony Figo,“ Made in the Sud ”- Rai 2 – Italy).

 

Her collaboration with Tony D’Ursi continues with his unreleased show “Voglio fa’ l’americano” directed by Alessandro Siani, in which Carmen is singer, backing vocalist, dancer and actress in the role of Aretha Franklin .

 

This show allows Carmen’s voice to reach Francesco Cicchella (“Made in Sud” – Rai 2, “Tale e Quale Show” – Rai 1), who asks her to sing in his show “Millevoci Tonight Show“, with the artistic supervision of Alessandro Siani and the direction of Gigi Proietti.

 

2019 marks two great milestones in Carmen’s life: in April she graduates in Jazz Singing at the “San Pietro a Majella” Conservatory of Naples. Later, in October, she moves to London looking for new artistic stimuli and more chances for her singing career. She starts performing in Piccadilly Circus as busker, receiving a lot of acclaim, compliments and collaboration proposals.

 

Since the age of 16, when she decided to become a singer, Carmen has never stood still: she has gained 13 years of experiences in live music with different bands, many gigs in clubs, public and private events, theater shows and musicals.
